c. 1892

Gothic Hall, circa 1892

The “Gothic Hall” was built by George E. Waring and stood at the corner of Broad & Bedford Streets.
In 1869 it became the home of the Catherine Aiken School, which eventually moved to Dolsen Place.

The house was later torn down to be replaced in 1910 by the Ferguson Library.
