Memorial Day Parade 1919

The Stamford Historical Society greatfully acknowledges the donation of copy prints of four Memorial Day photos from 1919 by Leo Houle and consider them a fitting subject for this month. The only person we can identify is a Scofield, holding the reigns in the first image below. Although the third image has the year 1918 on a banner, the parade is clearly that of 1919. The group behind that banner is presumably made up of medical field staff from WWI.
