Photo Archivist
Reports to Executive Director
Assistant Photo Archivist
Reports to Photo Archivist
Supervising Assistant Archivists.
Assisting staff in preparing exhibits.
Assisting staff in preparing exhibits (optional)
File Maintenance

Cataloging and Data Entry of Vintage Photos

  • collate original photos with prints, negatives, etc. and enter data and description on catalog forms for electronic data entry;
  • and/or: enter data from cataloging forms into a museum software data base;
  • and/or: scan or take digital photos of the above items.

Performing on site research, assisting the public in locating vintage photos in the collection and/or scanning images for customers.

Requirements:

  • basic computer knowledge.
  • the Society will provide on the job training.

Time commitment:

  • Number of hours flexible.
  • During museum hours: 12 Noon to 4 PM Tuesday through Saturday.
  • Other times as needed for exhibits.
