WWII Posters from the Society’s Collection

A poster gallery in the Hallway, drawn from the Society’s World War II era collection, offers visitors a snapshot of the U.S. Government’s efforts to attract and encourage public support for the money, material resources, labor, and day-to-day sacrifices needed for a successful war effort.

The Society gratefully acknowledges the 1992 gift of twelve posters by Eleanor (Mrs. Lawrence) Trowbridge, as well as the recent assistance of Creative Framing & Gallery.
